Caprese Salad – Low Carb

A Caprese salad is a simple Italian salad that is served alongside the main dish. It is fresh and simple to make, using a basic vinaigrette to drizzle and complete.

  • 4 crazy ripe roma tomatoes (sliced into 2 cm slices) 
  • 2 balls buffalo mozzarella ( sliced into 2 cm slices) 
  • 1 handful basil leaves 
  • 4 tbsp basic vinaigrette or Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 pinch salt and black pepper

On a large serving platter, arrange the tomato, mozzarella and basil leaves by alternating and overlapping them

Season with salt and pepper, splash it with the vinaigrette and serve.
