MCT Oils and your Battle Brew

If you have done as much research into MCT oil as our Lab Rats have, you soon start to realise that not all MCT oils are the same.

Essentially MCTs are a family and contain 8-12 carbon fatty acid esters of glycerol so we are talking about 3 fatty acids. Coconut or Palm Oil, from which MCT oil is derived, contains C8:0, C10:0 and C12:0 fatty acid esters. However the ones that are the most beneficial from a dietary and general health perspective are C8 and C10.

BATTLE BREW M-C-T is an ultra pure 60 % C-8:0, 40 % C-10:0 MCT Oil and has 6-8 times higher concentration of MCT’s than normal coconut oil.

While MCTs are a supplement and are not intended to prevent or cure any disease or replace any medication they have been shown to be useful alongside medication in a number of cases.

The use of BATTLE BREW M-C-T oil may result in the following benefits* :

  • Peak Performance: BATTLE BREW M-C-T oil converts into energy faster than other oils
  • Control: May help keep cholesterol levels healthy by controlling LDL (bad) cholesterol
  • Endurance: May enhance absorption and use of vitamin E, calcium, and magnesium in the body
  • Defence: May help control harmful bacteria, viruses and fungi inside the body
  • Combat ready: May help you overcome the effects of “Carb Flu
  • At ease: No refrigeration required and liquid at room temperature

MCTs have been shown to be a useful supplement in the treatment of disorders that involve damaged or impaired lipid (fat) metabolism. These are:

  • obstructive jaundice
  • biliary cirrhosis
  • pancreatitis
  • cystic fibrosis
  • celiac disease
  • Whipple’s disease
  • Crohn’s disease
  • regional enteritis
  • malabsorption in neonates.

*Based on international research conducted into the use of MCT’s as a dietary supplement.
