Sizzling Pork Chops in Coffee

Pork chops and coffee might sound strange but surprisingly all it adds is a great earthy, coffee taste. Banters will enjoy these sizzling chops and onions fried in olive oil and butter, sends those taste buds into overdrive. Lovely meal and very filling.

Serves 4

Ingredients

5-6 Pork Chops

2 Onions

1 cup Water, boiled

3 Tbsp Real Coffee

1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar

1/2 cup Xylitol

1/2 cup Cream Cheese

To fry Olive Oil OR Butter

Cooking your Chops

  1. Preheat the oven to 160C.
  2. Fry the pork chops in the butter or olive oil. Take them out and put them into a casserole pan.
  3. Fry the onions in the same pan that the chops were fried in until translucent.
  4. Mix the coffee into the boiled water, mix well and pour in with the fried onions.
  5. Pour in the vinegar, xylitol and cream cheese and allow to cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Pour over the pork chops in the casserole dish, and bake for an hour.
  7. Serve with cauli-mash.
